Michael Madsen, whom Rolling Stone once dubbed "a natural menace," brought a certain erratic energy to the set. While filming a scene in The Getaway (in which Doc notices Rudy waiting in ambush outside his hotel room), Madsen, seeking to evoke an appropriate look of surprise on Alec Baldwin's face, stood just off camera -- and dropped his pants.
