Casting Marilyn

One day the casting director at Twentieth Century-Fox gave Marilyn Monroe a sealed letter of introduction and instructed her to visit the studio's other executives. After they had read the letter, the men walked out from behind their desks and started to unzip their pants!

["I spent a great deal of time on my knees," Marilyn once recalled, and on another occasion remarked: "They weren't shooting all those sexy movies just to sell peanut butter. They wanted to sample the merchandise."]
