In the spring of 1966, Jerry Garcia and the rest of the Grateful Dead moved into their "Rancho Olompali" off California Highway 101. The Dead promptly posted a sign out front to ward off any would-be trespassers. Its message? "No Trespassing -- Violators Will Be Experimented Upon."
