Model Romance

Fra Filippo Lippi, one of the master painters of the Renaissance, was as famed for his love of women as he was for his art. While painting his famous Madonna and Child, Lippi fittingly found a nun to serve as his model -- and promptly ran off with her.

The fact that she was a nun did not seem to bother him. Nor should it have; Lippi himself was a Carmelite monk!
