In 1993, Liam Gallagher and his Oasis bandmates boarded a ferry headed to Amsterdam to play their first ever overseas gig. The journey went swimmingly -- for about five minutes. The lads promptly got liquored up and Liam, after fighting with security guards, ended up in the ship's brig. Then, after swearing at his captors for some time, he was ordered to lie down with his nose on a chalk line, where he stayed squirming like a schoolboy for three hours.
[The band was refused permission to disembark in Amsterdam.]
