Walter Damrosch conducts an Aaron Copland Symphony

In 1925, Walter Damrosch had the pleasure of conducting Aaron Copland's Symphony for Organ and Orchestra. "If a young man at the age of twenty-three can write a symphony like that," he marveled, "in five years he will be ready to commit murder!"
