Bruce Willis once served as a spokesman for Seagram's Liquor & Spirits -- and soon got the can. Why? Had he developed a distaste for their products? No. Quite the opposite: He had been arrested for drunk driving.
This was not Willis's first brush with the law. On Memorial Day weekend in 1987, he was arrested after assaulting the police officer who had been called to restore order at a raucous party he was hosting. "Why are you saying f--- so much?" Willis was asked. "What is this," he replied, "courtesy class?"
The charges were dropped when Willis agreed to apologize to neighbors.
