Ivana Grump

In June 2000, Ivana Trump filed a lawsuit against an Italian TV station after its employees doused her with water during an appearance on a "Candid Camera"-type show. "She was not treated with respect on that show," her lawyer explained.

In court papers, Trump claimed that the splashy surprise had caused her "bodily harm, shock, chills, nervousness, high fever, nausea, embarrassment and severe emotional distress" and forced her to seek emergency medical treatment. Moreover, she said, the prank had ruined a $3,000 dress and led to the loss of some $25,000 Harry Winston earrings. Ivana's claim for damages? $3 million.

["Fiction writing is great," Ivana famously remarked upon finishing her first novel. "You can make up almost anything."]
