Young Erin Rocha

One day in 2003, a 16-year-old British schoolgirl named Erin Rocha visited a recording studio for "work experience." When a session singer (who had been booked to record a demo single) fell ill, Rocha filled in, singing "Can't Do Right For Doing Wrong." Some time later EMI heard Rocha's track -- and promptly signed her to a $1.15 million recording contract.
