Joni Mitchell: Woodstock

After the legendary concert in 1969, Joni Mitchell wrote the hit song "Woodstock" for Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. Ironically, she herself had never made it to the festival.

["I became one of the fans that missed it, which is an interesting perspective," she later remarked. "I don't think the song would've been born if I had been there backstage."]
