Bobby Bonilla joined the Baltimore Orioles shortly before Cal Ripken eclipsed Lou Gehrig's record by playing in his 2,131st consecutive game (on September 6th, 1995). Prior to the game, Bonilla wondered whether his teammates in the Baltimore clubhouse would treat Ripken with kid gloves, taking care not to accidentally bump into him and cause an injury. He soon stopped worrying -- when he saw Ripken wrestling with Baltimore outfielder Jeffrey Hammonds!
