Following the Hollinger scandal, Conrad Black's name became yet another byword for corporate corruption. But Black's dodges did not end with salary shenanigans. In addition to "management fees," private jets, personal chauffeurs, and household staff for Black, Hollinger, a publicly-traded corporation, also "invested" twelve million dollars on a collection of FDR-related memorabilia -- when Black just happened to be working on a biography of FDR.
