Billy Crystal: Charlie Brown Moment
Billy Crystal once worked as house manager on a production of "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown." He also served as an understudy for many of the characters and as an usher. While working as an usher one evening, he spotted Walter Cronkite in the crowd. Intent on making a good impression, he approached the legendary news anchor in the darkness and crouched down beside him. "Mr Cronkite," he whispered, "if there's anything I can do to make you more comfortable..." As it happened, there was: "Well," Cronkite tersely replied, "you can start by getting that flashlight out of my face."
