After leaving Oxford, Hugh Grant joined a comedy review called the Jockeys Of Norfolk. For extra money, they wrote sketches for comedy shows and occasional radio ads. Grant also turned his hand to book-reviewing and to a novel entitled Slack. Ironically, years later the book remained (and remains) incomplete.
