Sigourney Weaver: Dedicated Mother

When Sigourney Weaver finally had a child (after five years spent trying to conceive), she decided to make just one film a year in order to focus on being a mother.

"There were parts she was annoyed to miss out on. Having told her agent, Steve Dontonville, she didn't want to work during a particular period, you can imagine how she felt when Jane Campion asked him if he knew a Sigourney Weaver-type for The Piano and he recommended Holly Hunter."

["Most of the women I've played," Sigourney Weaver once remarked, "look either constipated or like they've never had an orgasm."]
