After graduating with a BFA in acting from Boston University, Ginnifer Goodwin studied at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London. Her English classmates had a few laughs at her expense. "I found out when I went to RADA," she later recalled, "that in Elizabethan times, a British accent sounded like a Tennessee accent. I never actually followed up on that as far as researching it goes, but they all said it..."
[They were, of course, joking.]
