Though she lived in London, Cuban-born triple jumper, Yamile Aldama, was prevented from competing for Britain in the 2004 Olympics in Anthens because she could not get British citizenship in time. Determined to compete, Aldama simply flew to Khartoum. Two days later she was Sudanese.
