For one episode of "The Simple Life 3: Interns," Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton were briefly employed in a hospital, where they assisted during a liposuction procedure. "I'm standing behind her and I started seeing the fat sucked out," Nicole later recalled of her patient, "and I was like [gasping] and I was banging my head against the wall. I was like, 'It's disgusting! It's so gross!'"

Nicole's job? "My job was to keep her calm."

"When she was done, my job then was to take the big container of fat and throw it away. But the husband was waiting in the waiting room and I felt bad that he didn't see his wife for three or four hours so I thought, 'Well, he might as well have a little piece of her while he's waiting.' So I brought the container in so he could, like, hold her... He didn't love it."
