During a luncheon meeting with a business partner in L.A., Al Gore noticed an older woman who repeatedly passed his table, intently studying his face each time. At last she mustered the courage to approach the table. "I looked up," Gore recalled, "and I said, 'How do you do?' and she said, 'You know if you dyed your hair you'd look just like Al Gore.' And I said, 'I can't tell you how flattering that is ma'am.' She said, 'You know, you sound like him too.' I said, 'I hear that all the time!'"
