Time Peace?

A regular speaker at antislavery meetings, William Garrison was accustomed to handling insults and dodging various projectiles thrown from the crowd. When the British Anti-Slavery Society gave a banquet in his honor and presented him with a gold watch, Garrison was rather moved.
