ZZ Laptop

ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons once observed that the band's fans, though still a "rebellious, raucous bunch" were changing. "I'll see a cowboy hat in the first row, purple hair in the second row..."

In fact, on one occasion Gibbons was amused to see "some guy in a suit with a laptop and a mobile phone in the third row -- e-mailing his requests to the stage!"

["We know three beats, three chords," Gibbons once claimed. "We do good with guitars with one volume knob."]

[It was once considered a letter in the English language. The Chinese call it a little mouse, Danes and Swedes an elephant's trunk, Germans a spider monkey, and Italians a snail. Israelis pronounce it 'strudels' and the Czechs say 'rollmops'... What is it? The @ sign.]
