Bob Geldof was so upset when his ex-wife Paula Yates left him (for former INXS frontman Michael Hutchence) that he thought about killing himself. Geldof weighed the pros and cons and composed a list of reasons to go on living and a list of reasons to end it all. "The 'Why Bother?' list was two pages," he recalled. "The 'Why Stay?' list was two words -- the children."
