One day during the Chilean War for Independence, rebel leader Bernardo O'Higgins found himself trapped in a small town with his army of hopelessly outnumbered and exhausted soldiers. Nonetheless, thanks to an unexpected weapon, O'Higgins and his men managed to fight another day: they escaped behind a stampede of domesticated animals.
