Operation Guano

During World War II, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt approved a secret plan to drop "live munitions" (Pentagonese for bats) over Japanese cities in a bid to terrorize their inhabitants. Unfortunately, the plan was quickly abandoned. Bats, it seems, tend to freeze to death at high altitudes.
