British Prime Minister Harold Wilson was once harangued in parliament by Willie Hamilton, the vocal MP for Fife Central, for his indecisiveness on the difficult question of Britain's entry into the European Common Market (EC). "First we're in, then we're out," he cried. "It's exactly like coitus interruptus."
The stunned silence was finally broken by a Tory member -- shouting: "Withdraw!"
[Needless to say, raucous laughter echoed throughout the House.]
