Future President?

During a student demonstration in California one day in the mid-1960s, Ronald Reagan (then the state's governor) found his limousine hemmed in by a crowd of chanting demonstrators waving placards and chanting, "We are the future! We are the future!"

Reagan promptly scribbled a note and held it up to the window. The governor's message to the Demonstrators? "I'll sell my bonds!"
