In November 2002, Susan Sarandon returned to New Jersey (the state in which she had attended high school) to accept an award from the state's governor at the Cape May Film Festival. Despite her receipt of yet another award, however, the Oscar-winning actress remained unfulfilled.
The problem? "I'm going for a rest stop," she told the assembled crowd. "I have all my other awards, but I want a rest stop named for me."
