Shortly after the appearance of her book It Takes a Village advocating community values, Hillary Clinton made a Democratic campaign stop in Colorado. Among those gathered to welcome the First Lady was a group of protesters, one of whom, Clinton was less than amused to learn, had fashioned a sign reading: "It takes a village to raise an idiot!"
