At the tender age of nine, Neve Campbell entered the National Ballet School of Canada, one of the world's most competitive dance schools. Five years later, she had a nervous breakdown.

"I'd just about given up on my dream of being a dancer and realized that I'd completely lost myself and had no friends and was very unhappy in my life and couldn't have continued if I'd stayed there," she recalled.

Indeed, such was the stress that she lost more than herself: she also completely lost her hair!

[Fortunately for Campbell, an intensive course of acupuncture brought it back.]
