During a guest appearance on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" one evening, Mr. T revealed an intriguing factoid to his host: In his heyday as a member of the "A-Team" cast, he often wore as much as 40 pounds of jewelry.

Conan, famous for his self-deprecating jokes about the show's poor quality and minimal budget, asked Mr. T why he was wearing so little jewelry -- and was amused by the answer. "The more they pay me to appear," Mr. T explained, "the more I wear."
