Guillemot

One day William Ker visited a natural history museum with a young girl of his acquaintance:

"What's that bird?" the girl asked of a certain specimen.
"That," said Ker, "is a guillemot."
"That's not my idea of a guillemot."
"No," Ker replied. "It's God's idea of a guillemot."

Ker, William Paton (1855-1923) British scholar, professor of English at University College, London (1889-1922)
