Just Say... Hope?

Shortly after his election to the oval office, George Bush (Sr), famed for his 'War on Drugs,' spoke to a group of students about the dangers of drug abuse:

"Now, like, I'm President," he announced. "It would be pretty hard for some drug guy to come into the White House and start offering it up, you know?... I bet if they did, I hope I would say, 'Hey, get lost. We don't want any of that.'"


Bush, George Herbert Walker (1924-    ) American politician, U.S. ambassador to the United Nations (1971–1972) and China (1974–1975), director of the Central Intelligence Agency (1976–1977), Vice President (under Ronald Reagan, 1981–1989), 41st President of the United States (1989–1993) [noted for his foreign policy initiatives and oversight of the Gulf War following the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait in 1991]
