Edna Ferber once wrote a letter to The New Yorker's legendary founder and editor, Harold Ross:

"Will you kindly inform the moron who runs your motion picture department," it read, "that I did not write the movie entitled Classified? Neither did I write any of its wisecracking titles. Also inform him that Moses did not write the motion picture entitled The Ten Commandments."
